For the festival theme OUT/SIDE/IN, FEMMESPHERES.berlin explores the movements between inside and outside—spatially, emotionally, socially. The collective understands these not as fixed boundaries but as permeable membranes: sites of transition, friction, and resonance. Within this tension, each artist poses a personal question—to herself and to the audience. Questions that move us all. The answers, collaborative and inquisitive, render these artistic positions visible. Together, they form a polyphonic, feminist FAQ for 48h Neukölln, sharp-edged yet tender, probing the infinite facets between black and white and reflecting the questions of life itself.
The participatory-artistic FAQ format:
• Each artist develops a personal, “pertinent” question tied to OUT/SIDE/IN.
• These questions and our responses create a collective FAQ—a female archive of knowledge rooted in experience, embodiment, and reflection.
• The audience is invited to engage: to think, write, and contribute through participatory elements, comments, or their own questions.
• The result is a growing, open network of questions and answers, weaving introspection and interaction into one.
