From March 4 to 13, 2026, the Hungarian Academy in Rome hosts Dialoghi Visivi, a group exhibition of contemporary art under the artistic direction of Antonietta Campilongo.
In a time marked by increasing interconnection between cultures and diverse sensibilities, dialogue emerges as a fundamental element of mutual understanding. Visual Dialogues arises from the desire to activate this space of encounter through the language of contemporary art, exploring cultural and artistic connections between different contexts.
The exhibition aims to highlight how historical legacies, aesthetic sensibilities, and heterogeneous cultural paths can converge in a shared space of exchange, giving rise to a common visual language. Through a selection of works ranging from painting to photography, from sculpture to installations and video art, the project proposes an investigation into the processes of renegotiation of identities and collective memories, offering the public a space for reflection and dialogue.
Within this context, artists of different nationalities contribute to the construction of a collective narrative in which cultural, formal, and material differences are not erased, but activated as relational elements, opening up new visual and interpretative perspectives. The works on display also function as devices of dialogue with the landscape and the material dimension, expanding the field of inquiry toward a reflection on the interconnections between cultural practices, environment, and systems of relationships.
The exhibition will take place at Palazzo Falconieri, the seat of the Hungarian Academy in Rome, located at Via Giulia 1, Rome, and represents an important opportunity for engagement with an international audience, positioning itself within an open and dynamic intercultural discourse.
