Mirror mirror on the wall, who is m/f/d of them all?
Taking as its starting point the Brothers Grimm fairy tale ‘Snow White’, in which female role models and competition are exemplified in a condensed form, the exhibition turns its attention to contemporary issues of gender, social norms and societal perceptions. How do role models emerge?
Where are they reinforced, and where are they challenged? And how open is our society, in reality, when it comes to dealing with identity beyond binary categorisations?
