Extreme weather events, floods, droughts and fractured lands: signals the Earth keeps sending us. They are not only environmental emergencies, but also calls to care for one another. My hope is that humanity will answer this call — protecting the fundamental rights of those most vulnerable and building a future where technology and resources serve everyone, leaving no one behind. May the telephone not rust in the water, but remind us to listen and to act.
In 2020 I have begun to expand the work into an installation with multiple videos and sound: Emergency Call Center.
